Why Our Roads are like this?

Road transport is a very common way of transport in Kerala state, it is the common man's method of transporting. But now a days this method is causing too much of loss to common man in the form of excess fuel consumption and time lag.

The main culprit for this cause is the bad condition of our roads. potholes in roads are a common factor and we are used to it also but nowadays it is only holes in the road and no road at all. The resent Japanese Irrigation Project was  made our whole roads so pathetic in its condition that people started cursing by hearing the name Japan even. It made the roads hell like that no one can travel on roads comfortably.

The government and irrigation department are so happy to dug up the road but its repair and proper completion of the work is still in vain . Especially when rain occurs no one knows where is the road and where is the hole. News papers on these days are flooded with the accident news due to poor road condition, still our government and concerned department are  sleeping.

We have a court which can involve in such type of matter but they are very busy in other matters, court is busy producing orders like not to kill stray dogs,wear helmet while riding, not to wear sari  on two wheeler, pillion riders  not to sit one sided and our police are keen to put fine on those who do not follow these 'valuable' court orders, but nobody is there to comment on the poor condition of roads, no one is there to fine the contractors who don't do their work properly causing the road to get damaged frequently. There is no system to co ordinate the work of different department like irrigation, telephone and PWD to avoid digging up a road immediately it was repaired. 

No one is there to see whether the roads being repaired by them who dug it up for their work. Everyone wants to damage the roads for their benefits but not even a single proper system to correct it , and we still shamelessly advertise our state in tourism map as "God's Own Country" when the poor common man  falling in this potholes with their precious family and die there itself bleeding bleeding bleeding.......
